Dr Elghoul received his fellowship in cardiovascular medicine at the State University of new York in Brooklyn. He completed his Interventional Fellowship (Cardiac and Peripheral Vascular Disease) at the University of Louisville Kentucky. He has expertise in treating complex cardiac and peripheral cases. He is Board certified in Cardiology, Interventional Cardiology, and Nuclear Medicine.

He has several publications in peer reviewed journals.

He has been practicing in Arizona since 2001 and founded Cedars Heart Clinic in 2006.

He received several awards in medical school, and more recently was awarded Excellence Award (The 7 Principles of Behavior) and the Marreel Excellence in service Award for outstanding patient care.

Dr. Alhammouri completed his residency in internal medicine at the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. He received his fellowship in general cardiology at the University of South Alabama. Dr. Alhammouri is board certified in Internal Medicine, and General Cardiology. He is also board certified in Nuclear Cardiology and Cardiac CT angiography. During his fellowship training, he received the Program Director’s award for Excellence in Academics and Education.

Dr. Alhammouri specializes in treating various cardiac conditions, including coronary artery disease, heart failure and valvular heart disease. He also has special interest in preventive cardiology and cardiac imaging.

Dr Mohammad completed his fellowship in cardiovascular disease in June 2012 and his Interventional Cardiology fellowship in June 2013 from Seton Hall University.

Dr. Mohammad served as chief resident and chief fellow during his training.

Dr. Mohammad holds multiple board certifications.  He is certified in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Disease and Interventional Cardiology by the American Board of Internal Medicine.  He is also board certified in Adult Comprehensive Echocardiography by the National Board of Echocardiography and Nuclear Cardiology by CBNC. And he is a fellow of the American College of Cardiology.

Dr. Mohammad worked as an Interventional Cardiologist for one year in New Jersey before he joined Cedars Heart Clinic in July 2014. He holds a special interest in coronary artery disease, peripheral vascular disease and valve disorders.

Kari Celaya, NP-C was born in Hastings Nebraska. She Graduated with a BS in Nursing from the University of Nebraska Medical Center, College of Nursing in 1998. She obtained both her Masters in Nursing from Arizona State University and her certificate as an Adult Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners, in 2008. She was also inducted into Sigma Theta Tau Nursing Honor Society in 2008. Kari has been working in cardiology and an exemplary provider of care and compassion here at Cedars Heart Clinic since then.
