Suzzan Tarno ACNP-BC is a board-certified Acute Care Nurse Practitioner with a specialty in cardiology medicine. She received her Master’s degree from the University of Alabama in Birmingham Alabama and has worked in the medical field for 29 years and as a Nurse Practitioner for the last 18 years. She is very passionate about treating cardiovascular disease and feels that she is blessed to be able to work in cardiology while individualizing patient care. She is certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and is listed in WHO’s Who Among Students in American Universities & Colleges.
Prior to working in the medical field, she worked in the mortgage and finance industry as a mortgage broker. During her time away from work she enjoys spending time with her husband (Rodney) and family, and is involved with many organizations as a volunteer. For fun, she enjoys flying as a private pilot, motorcycling, and boating and is involved/participates in many different local and non-local fundraising events.
